On this anchor setup it appears that the chain goes over the windlass, over the roller, through the roller attached to the bridle. And to the bottom. Do they hold the bridle while they let the chain out? And is the anchor just stowed by hanging there?

Bridle roller is left free. Length of bridle lets anchor rest in best place. I need to video this running out and in.
