63′ Trimaran Price Reduced
This unfinished 63′ KHSD trimaran has been put up for sale. It is in Marysville, WA. The hulls are completed, along with at least one beam web. It comes with more than enough fabric and epoxy to finish it. As well as a motor.
Lots more pictures after the break.
This trimaran has gotten a price reduction. Now $145,000. Keep in mind that the Rapido 60 will start at $1.79 million, and the 63′ will be much more. On this unit, the hulls are all built. Only the cross arms need to be finished.
If needed to be trucked a long way, one can cut down the centerline, and repaired with DB 1708.
It is located in Marysville, WA.

Here’s what the 63 looks like completed:

12′ Trimaran Goes To Small Boat Festival
In late July I took my 12′ trimaran design to the small boat festival.
It was the only yellow boat there. And the lightest. It wasn’t really my crowd. All the other boats were heavy timber classics. While there I learned that small monohull guru, John Wellsford would be there.

My 35′ Power Trimaran
My 35′ power trimaran, built by legendary boat builder Andre Cocquyt. Foam/glass. Andre notes:
our trials got cut short due to hurricane Lee, the marina evacuated and it’s too late to put back in before the season ends per Oct. 1st. I saw 23.4 mph on the second test run. she likes to cruise happily and quietly around 3,400 rpm doing 14 mph. With engines in idle fwd, she does 6.5 mph. It will be interesting to see how she does next year with the trim mods and the swim platform.

POWER TRIMARAN
My friend, brilliant designer and builder, built one of my power trimarans.
It looks wonderful. Especially when I stand back and look at it.
A pair of 50 HP, 4 cycle outboards pushes it at 24 knots. Sea trials were cancelled due to hurricane.

It had to be larger to carry the weight.
