Seller wants $150,000. He reminded me that is about the materials cost alone. The shell is almost done. The back face of the aft cross arm and the transom are already built.
The construction is excellent. Vacuum bagging and peel ply on everything.
It is about 150 yards from the salt water so can be moved on its own bottom with very little work.
Okay Kurt, you have tortured me enough with this 40’ cat. They are asking 150k, but what would the number be to finish it off enough to have a painted exterior and at least make it a motor cat in the short run? We have bought a retirement house in “old town” Anacortes so the boat is apparently just down the street sort of?
I know I haven’t stayed in touch, I just lurk around watching your fb posts and getting older.
