I have gotten the new versions of the various CADD programs working on Windows 7, and talking to the new printer now. I am having to learn the new program upgrades as I go along. About a third of all the files are not migrating intact so I will have to go back to the old versions on XP and save again doing something different. Once I get it all sorted out output will be many times faster.
As it is, the
study plans and dvd sales take way more time than they should and are thus not really affordable to me. Most of the problems are postal; people complain (to me) that the post office is slow. And Paypal, not notifying me of an order, or double-billing a customer, or taking refund from me even if USPS proves I mailed it. Some time later when I sort out what to do.
I see that the former Kobayashi catamaran got launched and got press
too.

I’m almost caught up with the truckload of holiday plans orders. Between travel, flu and some USCG emergencies, I got behind. Almost there. I will
be able to work on new work next week again.
I just got some pictures of the catamaran known as Jack Kobayashi’s boat or the cat at Gils.
The new owner, Courage Winter will be launching next week. This catamaran goes back a ways. It was the first design where I did the entire plan set in CADD. Must have been ’87 or ’88. Its looking beautiful now. Epoxy/Duracore construction.

I just got word from Paypal that even though I provided USPS tracking proof that I mailed the DVD, since post office still has not delivered it, customer gets full refund. I’m going to have to put in extra protections for Paypal sales I guess. Customer has not responded to any emails so I have no way to know if he actually got it.
